Local Team News: Dick Enberg to join Padres TV

Chargers have signed linebacker Marques Harris. To make room for Harris, San Diego waived tackle Corey Clark. Harris signed with the San Francisco 49ers in May 2009 and was released Oct. 27. He will wear No. 58 for the Chargers. – Marques Harris Career Stats

Padres are set to hire McLeod as their assistant general manager of scouting and player development.  McLeod is no stranger to the Padres. He worked for the team in several positions from 1994 to 2003. – More

It’s believed that Enberg, who currently works for CBS Sports, will call about 120 games next season as part of the Padres television team. – More - Sweeet! Sooo will it be Dick & Mud… tell me Mark Neely’s gone. Maybe Tony Gywnn!

    Apparently, Jason McLeod is also John Moores’ former son-in-law which doesn’t mean a damn thing, I’m just sayin’…

    They should’ve just shelled out the bucks to keep Matty V rather than spend it on an old timer like Enberg. I guess he can’t be any worse at baseball than he is at football…that chit’s painful.
