NFL: Uncapped 2010 would affect free agency

According to a list obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday, there are 212 players who would be considered restricted free agents — instead of unrestricted — if there is no salary cap in 2010. There is at least one player from each of the NFL’s 32 teams on the list. – Full Story

    if they’re considered restricted free agents then at least the Chargers can get a draft pick or picks for Merriman if they make him a qualifying offer and he signs somewhere else. Dobbins, Floyd, VJ, McNeil and Sproles need to stay.
