Presidential McNugget Sells For $8,000 On eBay

A Nebraska woman has sold a three-year-old McDonald’s Chicken McNugget that resembles President George Washington for $8,100 on eBay.

The Sioux City Journal in Iowa says bidding ended just after 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Rebekah Speight of Dakota City sold the McNugget to raise money for a drive to raise $15,000 and send 50 children to summer church camp in Sioux City.

Speight says her children didn’t eat the chicken during a McDonald’s visit three years ago. She was about to toss it, then spotted Washington’s resemblance. Speight stashed the McNugget in her freezer.

Man Bursts Into Flames After Accidentally Drinking Gasoline, Lighting Cigarette – Why is it that every time we hear a story like this its never in a major city or affluent neighborhood? Hmmm, I just can’t figure out why?

This time its the city of Havelock in North Carolina.

From CBS affiliate in Charlotte:

43-year old Gary Allen Banning was at a friend’s apartment when he apparently mistook a jar of gasoline sitting by the kitchen sink for a beverage. After taking a gulp, he spit the gas out and got some on his clothes.

Sometime later, investigators say Banning went outside to smoke a cigarette and burst into flames. Banning was transported to UNC Burn Center in Chapel Hill, where he died early Tuesday morning.

Urinal Video Game Console Is A Hit In Japan

A new urinal video game developed by Sega is gaining popularity in Japan. The new game, Toylet, measures the volume and speed of the user’s urine as they aim at a sensor inside the toilet. Pissers can choose from 5 different games in a console mounted on top of the urinal. One of the games called The North Wind and Her shows a young lady in a dress on a windy day. The harder the user pisses, the harder the wind blows in an attempt to remove her dress entirely.

An infra-red sensor cuts off gameplay if the gamer steps too far away from the toilet to detract them from long-range attempts. Toylet is currently only available in Japan but Sega hopes to expand globally later this year. – More at Electronista.com

Former bartender and budding entrepreneur Ben Hirko has partnered up with beef processor Chad Lottman of C & C Processing in Diller, Nebraska to come up with the new beef straw. Hirko came up with the idea after seeing bar patrons come into the bar with some beef snacks of their own and realizing how the flavor would complement a Bloody Mary.

Benny’s Bloody Mary Beef Straws are now available in 26 states and expanding. The only retail shop in California where they’re available is The Oaks Gourmet in L.A. and the only CA bar where they’re serving is the Corral De Tierra Country Club in Salias.

Video: Kanzi the Chimp Makes A Fire & Cooks

Does this seem like a bad idea to anyone else? Kanzi, a bonobo chimpanzee, knows how to gather wood to make a fire and then uses a lighter to light it up. He and his lady friend use the fire to cook some burgers and then roast some marshmellows.

They teach him all that but they can’t teach him how to recycle or use a fucking trash can? The fucker just threw the water bottle down after dousing the fire. Pretty impressive but it’s still only the 2nd best thing a monkey or ape has done the last year. Nothing beats the monkey playing jockey and riding on the back of a dog during halftime at a Denver Broncos game. ESPN has replayed this clip a thousand times and I still lose my shit when I see it.
